North Boone High School students had a great day exploring career opportunities during National Manufacturing Day, hosted by CEANCI!
Students kicked off the day with a tour of a local manufacturer Bourn & Koch, enjoyed lunch, and toured the ATC at Rock Valley College’s Belvidere campus.
The day wrapped up with a vendor expo where students connected with community resources and learned more about opportunities in the manufacturing industry.
Thank you to CEANCI and all the participating businesses and organizations for helping our students explore future career pathways and discover what’s possible right here in our community!

💚 Mental Health & Wellness Day at NBHS! 💚
Today, North Boone High School hosted our 3rd Annual Mental Health & Wellness Day, and we are so grateful for the incredible community support that made this day possible!
With over 40 vendors and 15 different presenters participating, our students had the opportunity to explore resources, learn about mental health and wellness, ask questions, and connect with people and organizations dedicated to supporting them.
This day is about more than presentations and booths. It’s about reminding our students that their mental health matters, that resources are available, and that they don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. 💚
A HUGE thank-you to all of our vendors, presenters, community partners, and volunteers who took time out of their day to be here and invest in our students. Your willingness to share your knowledge, resources, and support helps us create a stronger, healthier community for our young people.
