North Boone CUSD 200 to Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Celebrating Asphalt

Improvement at North Boone Middle and Upper Elementary Schools

Poplar Grove, Illinois — August 27, 2026 — North Boone Community Unit School District

200 is pleased to announce a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating recent improvements at North

Boone Middle School. The event will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at

North Boone Middle School.

The ceremony will provide an opportunity for the District, Board of Education, staff, students,

families, and community members to recognize the completion of recent improvements and

celebrate the continued investment in our schools and facilities. The event will include brief

remarks from District and Board representatives, followed by the ceremonial ribbon cutting.

“Projects like this represent more than an investment in a building; they represent an investment

in our students, staff, and community,” said Dr. Matt Cascio, Superintendent of North Boone

CUSD 200. “We are grateful to everyone who contributed to bringing these improvements to

fruition and are excited to provide our students and staff with facilities that support their

educational experience.”

The District invites community members, families, staff, and other interested stakeholders to

attend the ceremony and share in this celebration. The event will also provide an opportunity to

recognize the collaborative efforts of the Board of Education, District staff, contractors, and

community members who helped make the project possible.
