North Boone’s Effort to Become #FutureReady

One of the key goals of the US Department of Education’s ConnectED program is to improve access to technology for students in K12 education and make all students #Future Ready. Superintendent Steven Baule was able to represent North Boone at the White House ConnectED Superintendents Summit in November. Without a doubt, instructional technology appropriately implemented is essential for moving forward to differentiate and personalize instruction for all students. Since Carl Washburne postulated the need for individual education plans in 1919, schools have tried to figure out how to better meet the unique needs of each child. This page provides links to resources that a number of North Boone teachers and students have developed to showcase the impact of technology particularly related to increased access to Internet resources. Currently, all NBMS students have a 1:1 device.
